چکیده
Abstract The present review provides a survey on basic models of ordered data and censoring mechanisms with focus lifetime data, failure reliability applications. Throughout, illustrations the generation process as well are used to visualize these procedures. By example we results assuming life testing model independent identically distributed measurements selected inferential for exponentially lifetimes. In particular, aim illustrate similarities between highlight some interesting exact statistical results. It is not intended all possible assumptions, probabilistic results, methods in this framework. Bayesian Estimation of Component Reliability Using Progressively Censored Masked System Lifetime Data from Rayleigh Distribution
Progressive type-II censoring scheme is a very popular scheme adopted by contributors in the fields of reliability and life-testing. In this paper, we consider a problem when this scheme is applied to a life-testing experiment in which each unit under test is a series system and the investigator is interested in obtaining reliability estimates of individual components. Assuming the components l...
متن کاملDetecting Changes in the Mean from Censored Lifetime Data
In many industrial and medical applications observations are censored either due to inherent limitations or cost/time considerations. For example, with many products their lifetimes are sufficiently long that it is infeasible to test all products until failure even using accelerated testing. As a result, often a limited stress test is performed and only a proportion of the true failure times ar...
متن کاملLikelihood Inference for Left Truncated and Right Censored Lifetime Data
Left truncation and right censoring arise naturally in lifetime data. Left truncation arises because in many situations, failure of a unit is observed only if it fails after a certain period. Often, the units under study may not be followed until all of them fail and the experimenter may have to stop at a certain time when some of the units may still be working. This introduces right censoring ...

For random right censoring the completeness of the censoring indicators, ordered according to observation time, is shown.
متن کاملBayesian Two-Sample Prediction with Progressively Type-II Censored Data for Some Lifetime Models
Prediction on the basis of censored data is very important topic in many fields including medical and engineering sciences. In this paper, based on progressive Type-II right censoring scheme, we will discuss Bayesian two-sample prediction. A general form for lifetime model including some well known and useful models such asWeibull and Pareto is considered for obtaining prediction bounds ...
